Scholarship Guidelines

Scholarships are awarded on a first-come basis (determined by postmarks) to assist applicants with the registration fee for annual meeting of the UCCOSSN.

The annual meeting planning committee and/or annual meeting registrar will determine the deadline for applications.

Scholarship applications shall be made in writing and cosigned by the applicant’s supervisor/employer.

A person applying for a UCCOSSN scholarship should have tried one other independent source of funding such as a women’s group within their church/association/conference or the association within their  setting,  in addition to applying to the UCCOSSN Scholarship Fund.

Scholarships will be awarded to a person for two consecutive years, after which there will be a one year waiting period before that person may apply again  for two consecutive years of aid.

The Scholarship Committee (Treasurer and Vice Chair) in consultation with the Executive Committee, will act upon aid requests

Scholarship money is funded through paid registration fees. Five dollars of each registration fee is placed in the Scholarship Fund.
